I am currently in the process of creating a Pokémon AU fan fiction series, tentatively called "Universe JC" for my gijinka characters, Jacob Steamclutch, Sara Elster, Wesley Wattman and all the others. From what I've devised so far, gijinkas can use the powers of whatever Pokémon they are, can talk to Pokémon, and even have one following them around. They also can become trainers, can participate in a Pokken Tournament style league that is like a martial arts league for them. The series is an AU that is loosely based on the original anime (Not Horizons), as that is what I'm mostly familiar with and because I plan to have some of the characters from that, mainly Duplica, Casey and some others in it. However, being loosely based on it, I might have characters from the games and/or manga appear. The main characters are Jacob Steamclutch, and his pet Raichu, Sparkshot as they head on their own journeys throughout the Pokémon world on many adventures and mis-adventures along with Sara

It was a pretty good movie about the events that led up to and about the Battle of Midway itself. Would definitely recommend it if you're a history buff.
